Role includes assisting with staffing, merchandising, cash handling, and security procedures, with occasional travel to other stores and bank deposits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to recruit, hire and supervise staff.
• Knowledge of cash handling, merchandising and inventory controls.
• Bilingual Spanish speakers may be preferred at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with merchandising and stocking according to store direction.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and reporting.
• Follow prescribed ordering to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Occasional store opening/closing responsibilities and safe deposit of funds.
• Review operating statements to identify trends and cost-control opportunities.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on schedule.
