Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Operations Leader to supervise customer service associates and manage front end store operations, while supporting the Store Manager to achieve company deliverables and drive profitability.

The role includes recruiting, training, performance management, scheduling, and ensuring compliance with all policies; you will lead customer experience initiatives, inventory control, and cross-functional collaboration with Pharmacy Operations and external partners.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree or completion of Walgreens internship, or a high school diploma/GED with two years in supervisory role.
• Demonstrated leadership abilities, strong ethics, motivation, and communication skills.
• Completion of Store Manager training program (LEAP) or Walgreens Leadership Essentials within 12 weeks of start date.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Oversees customer service associates and front-end operations to optimize store performance.
• Supports Store Manager with overall operation to achieve company deliverables and ensures merchandising and asset protection.
• Leads recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline for direct reports.
• Supervises training and development, and ensures team members comply with policies and procedures.
• Manages scheduling, time records, and store cash handling; analyzes inventory trends and drives action plans.
