Job summary

Walgreens is seeking an experienced Store Manager to supervise customer service associates and lead front-end and pharmacy operations. You will support the Store Manager to achieve company goals, manage scheduling, and drive sales while ensuring compliance and asset protection.

Key responsibilities include coaching staff, hiring, performance management, and coordinating with partners to strengthen community outreach. A strong English proficiency and supervisory background are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (any major) or completion of Walgreens Community Internship Program.
• High School Diploma/GED with two years supervisory experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).

Responsibilities

• Supervises customer service associates and designated hitters; manages front end of the store and makes recommendations on operations.
• Supports Store Manager to achieve company deliverables and coordinates with Store Manager on scheduling.
• Leads and manages store team members including recruitment, hiring, performance management, and discipline.
• Improves store sales and profitability and ensures proper merchandising and protection of store assets.
• Monitors customer service, coaches and trains staff, and develops improvement plans for front-end and pharmacy.
• Supervises store operations including opening/closing, scheduling, time records, and coverage.
• Collaborates with external partners to support community outreach and pharmacy operations.
• Analyzes financial and performance data to drive store improvements and identify sales opportunities.
• Provides training and development to team members and manages performance and discipline.
• Ensures compliance with policies, safety, and regulatory requirements.
