Job summary

Renaissance Hotels in Los Angeles is seeking an entry-level management position that focuses on supporting day-to-day Rooms Operations, including Housekeeping, Recreation, Laundry, Staff, AYS and Concierge/Guest Services. You will assist in coordinating guest arrival and departure procedures and helping to maintain the property's cleanliness and service standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with 3 years of related experience, or a 2-year degree with 1 year of experience in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; 3 years experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel/Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Opens and closes Front Desk shifts / Housekeeping and ensures completion of shift checklist.
• Runs and reviews room operations reports.
• Understands functions of Recreation, Laundry, Housekeeping, Bell Staff, AYS, Front Desk and Concierge/Guest Services.
• Operates department equipment and reports malfunctions.
• Ensures employees have proper supplies and uniforms.
• Understands night audit procedures and uses reports accordingly.
• Complies with loss prevention policies and procedures.
• Communicates performance expectations to employees.
