Job summary

The Buckle, Inc. seeks a full-time Leader in Training (LIT) and Floor Leader in Tampa, FL to drive sales, merchandising and store operations.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and Leadership Team to recruit new Teammates and develop a high-performing team while delivering exceptional Guest experiences. Responsibilities include leading sales initiatives, coaching teammates, managing visual displays, and enforcing store policies and Loss Prevention practices to maintain Buckle’s mission

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail experience (1–3 months) or training preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a friendly, engaging attitude and provide legendary service.
• Answer questions regarding store and merchandise; help locate products.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and sales education to guests and teammates.
• Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and exchange policies; ensure security practices.
• Lead by example with showmanship and high customer service standards.
• Recruit, train, and develop new Teammates to meet Buckle standards.
• Maintain visual standards and zone ownership with weekly checklists.
• Execute flexible scheduling and Loss Prevention guidelines; handle POS procedures.

Education

High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related retail experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
