Job summary

CoVolt Power in Iowa is seeking an Associate Project Manager to support the Project Manager and project team on construction projects. The role is developmental, with responsibilities assigned based on strengths to prepare for leadership.

This position is 100% site based with home rotations, located in Coggon, Iowa, reporting to the Project Manager. You will collaborate with Owners, field staff, preconstruction, procurement, scheduling, quality, and safety to ensure safety, timeliness, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction management or general contracting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and communicate clearly with stakeholders.
• Willingness to relocate or travel for assigned projects.
• OSHA 10 Hour Certification and First Aid/CPR certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager on large projects by managing procurement, subcontract management, scheduling, submittals, RFIs, permitting, and closeout.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Represent the company with clients, subcontractors, and partners on scope, schedule, and budget.
• Collaborate with Construction Managers to gain field experience and solve on-site issues.
• Provide timely updates on project status, resources, budgets, and forecasts to leadership and stakeholders.
• Under supervision, manage small-scale projects or components of larger projects.
