Job summary

Fairfield in San Antonio, TX seeks an Assistant Community Manager - Affordable to support property operations, ensure LIHTC/HUD compliance, and deliver excellent customer service. You will mentor leasing teams and drive resident satisfaction.

The role requires LIHTC experience, leasing background, and Yardi proficiency, with a focus on compliance, reporting, and team collaboration in a thriving multi-family environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of residential leasing, sales, and/or property management experience.
• Minimum of one year of LIHTC experience required.
• Experience using Yardi or other related property management accounting software.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and post rent, process invoices, and prepare monthly financial reports.
• Complete bank deposits and account reconciliations.
• Use Yardi software to manage property financials.
• Verify income and monitor rent limits for LIHTC and HUD programs.
• Prepare for inspections and maintain housing authority relationships.
• Lease apartments and respond to resident inquiries promptly.
• Promote resident satisfaction and retention.
• Mentor leasing team and support the Community Manager in daily operations.
