Job summary

Harri is seeking a General Manager in Training to learn and master responsibilities from the General Manager. The role emphasizes creating a creative, customer‑centric environment in a sports/entertainment setting.

The position focuses on day‑to‑day operations, payroll, P&L basics, and addressing various business matters while developing talent and supporting event sales. Relocation may be required as part of growth.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years’ experience as Assistant General Manager or General Manager in a high‑volume entertainment/event/restaurant setting.
• Superior customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to network, recruit, train, develop and assess talent.
• Excellent communication at all levels and strong hospitality background.
• Proven ability to increase sales and profitability and maintain brand awareness.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising floor and bar operations to maximize profitability and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Help create a safe environment and document accident reports promptly.
• Learn recruiting, interviewing, hiring, supervision, discipline and training processes.
• Assist with onboarding and training new staff and provide ongoing feedback.
• Support development through performance expectations and reviews.
• Assist in shift management, scheduling, and planning to maintain quality and cleanliness.
• Help control day‑to‑day operations: labor scheduling, supplies ordering, and SPIN team development.
• Learn OSHA compliance, health and safety codes, and company policies.
• Gain experience in cash control, inventory, labor management, and financial reporting.
• Coordinate with events team on pre‑event and on‑site execution and with the sales department to align goals.
