Job summary

Reworld Projects, LLC is seeking an Assistant Control Room Operator for our Florida power plant. You will operate air pollution control systems, turbine generators, pumps, and associated equipment to meet environmental and safety commitments.

The role requires a high school diploma, a municipal waste combustion course, and the ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts. You will support maintenance with lockout/tag-out and assist other operators while monitoring alarms and processes.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must have taken the municipal waste combustion course within a year upon hire.
• Must be able to work 12 hour rotating shifts.
• Ability to demonstrate how actions support safety and Reworld values.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operation of the Control Room and APC systems.
• Perform inspections and rounds of APC, boiler, turbine and related equipment.
• Lockout/tag-out of equipment in maintenance support.
• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary and Back Plant Operators for safe operation.
• Monitor operations systems and respond to alarms and events.
• Conduct material sampling and water treatment as required.
