Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Assistant Control Room Operator to oversee daily operation of air pollution control systems, turbine generators, boilers, and auxiliary equipment at our power facility in the United States. The role includes ensuring environmental compliance, safety, and efficient operation.

Responsibilities include assisting in control room operations, performing inspections, issuing work orders, and guiding crane and back-plant staff.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have completed municipal waste combustion course within a year of hire.
• Ability to read, write and verbally communicate in English.
• Must be able to pass respiratory fit testing.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily operation of the Control Room and APC systems.
• Perform inspections, rounds, and report malfunctions via work orders.
• Lockout/tag-out equipment in maintenance support.
• Provide guidance to Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators for safe operations.
• Monitor operations systems and respond to alarms with corrective actions.
• Take part in sampling and water treatment as required.
