Job summary

Consigli Construction Co. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager in New Jersey to join our Project Management team. You will assist the Senior Project Manager and Project Manager on all aspects of a project, with emphasis on document control, RFIs, submittals, and material delivery.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of construction PM experience, a related bachelor’s degree, and familiarity with Procore, Timberline/Sage, or Primavera P6. OSHA 10/30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or Architecture.
• 3–5 years of construction PM experience.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA-30 preferred.
• Experience with Timberline/Sage, Primavera P6, Procore preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for Owners, OPMs and design teams.
• Coordinate weekly meetings with subs, design teams and owner reps.
• Support cost and change management; prepare reports for meetings.
• Assist in development of estimates and bids for lump sum and GMP.
• Oversee Project Engineer and document control, RFIs, submittals, minutes.
• Mentor supporting team members, including Project Engineers.
• Maintain relations with subcontractors; monitor submittal and material delivery.
• Verify contracts and insurance before commencing work.
• Coordinate with scheduler to update master schedule.
• Assist superintendent in issue resolution focusing on quality, cost, schedule.
• Own closeout process; complete closeout checklist.
• Manage closeout docs for design team and owner.
• Manage financial closeout with subs and owner.
• PUNCH LIST: upload/distribute via Procore.
• Assist with work completion and maintain log.
• Observations and Field Reports: conduct field walks and document.
