Job summary

Consigli Construction Co. in the United States is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support Senior Project Manager on construction projects.

The role focuses on document control (RFIs, submittals, material delivery), subcontractor coordination, design team communication, and project reporting. You will mentor Project Engineers, manage field issues, track schedules, and help with closeout and financials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management or Architecture preferred.
• 3–5 years of construction project management experience.
• OSHA 10 and OSHA-30 preferred.
• Travel nationwide preferred.
• Experience with cost management and change control is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main liaison among Owners, OPMs and design team members.
• Coordinate and input during weekly meetings with subcontractors and design teams to resolve field conflicts.
• Support project cost and change management; prepare reports for reviews with Owners and internal teams.
• Assist in development of estimates and bids for lump-sum and GMP projects.
• Oversee Project Engineer and document control activities (RFIs, submittals, material delivery).
• Coordinate with Project Scheduler to update master schedule with Superintendent input.
• Assist with closeout documentation and financial closeout processes.
• Conduct safety walks with field and safety staff and record observations.
