Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Club Manager in Training (AMIT) to lead one or more departments and drive club performance. You will collaborate with the Club Manager, develop talent, and ensure GOLD standards across merchandising, perishables, or member experience.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as a retail store, supermarket, or warehouse operations manager.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a large team.
• Knowledge of shrink controls and merchandising, customer service, and conflict resolution.
• Completion of company training program preferred; ServSafe certification required.
• Forklift operator experience and open shift availability required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across assigned departments with strong business acumen.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard team members to ensure capable staffing.
• Oversee labor planning and scheduling aligned with trends and budgets.
• Drive sales, inventory control, and shrink management through execution.
• Champion member experience standards and maintain safety and cleanliness.
