Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Civil Project Manager to join our Land Development Civil Engineering team in Dallas, TX. You will support project delivery from concept through documentation and permit approvals.

The role requires four years of land development experience, a PE license or progress toward licensure, and strong CAD skills. You will coordinate with design teams, manage schedules, and mentor staff while ensuring quality and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years of experience in Land Development Civil Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer in respective state or able to obtain within 6–12 months.
• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Uses time management to meet schedule requirements.
• Delivers projects efficiently with strong organizational skills.
• Uses CAD software to maximize project delivery efficiency.
• Mentors assigned personnel and supports professional development.

• Reviews contracts and coordinates with Principal in Charge.
• Manages civil engineering projects of medium to high complexity.
• Performs billing, cost analysis and monitoring for profitability.
• Contributes to business development and marketing efforts.
• Plans manpower projections and staffing for multiple tasks.
• Maintains project schedules and resource allocation.
• Communicates with design teams, consultants and internal departments.
