Job summary

Westwood Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Project Engineer to join our Land Development team. You will lead civil engineering design efforts, manage multiple projects, and coordinate with survey, traffic, and hydrology teams to deliver plans on time and within budget.

You will oversee QA/QC processes, interact with City/County staff for approvals, and supervise up to five technical staff, including training and performance reviews. A PE license or imminent licensure is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer or eligible for licensure within 6–12 months.
• Experience in land development engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Execute land development civil engineering projects efficiently, meeting schedules and budgets.
• Support land development teams to produce civil plan sets.
• Effectively manage internal support teams (survey, traffic, hydrology/hydraulics) with clear schedules and budgets.
• Implement QA/QC program and ensure project compliance.
• Collaborate with City/County staff for project plan approvals.
• Lead up to five assigned technical personnel including assigning, reviewing, training, and compensation decisions.
• Administer construction services portions (RFI responses, site meetings with contractors).
