Job summary

Salesforce is seeking a Manager of Emerging Talent for the AI Builder Program in San Francisco. You will lead a high-caliber team of AI-native graduates, guiding them from onboarding to enterprise-scale customer transformations.

This role blends people leadership with technical direction, consulting mentorship, and program development to pioneer AI approaches. You will mentor graduates, engage with customers across Mid‑Market to Enterprise accounts, translate academic excellence into business

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a highly technical discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, software engineering, or a highly technical customer-facing role.
• 1+ years of experience managing technical teams, acting as a tech lead, or mentoring early-career engineers/consultants.
• Proficient in at least one language (Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java) and modern web architectures (React, REST APIs, GraphQL).
• Practical, hands-on experience or familiarity with Generative AI frameworks, prompt engineering, and LLM orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a cohort of Emerging Talent AI Builders with regular 1:1s and career development planning.
• Guide graduates through deploying production-grade, secure enterprise software.
• Translate technical value into business outcomes for customers during live deployments.
• Coach graduates on discovery sessions, stakeholder management, and handling customer pushback.
