Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Langhorne, PA is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our team. The role offers a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 based on experience and credentials, with a schedule of 3x12s or 4x10s and pay from $22.15 to $44.91 per hour.

We provide shift differentials for nights and weekends and opportunities for mentoring and growth within a collaborative emergency team.

Qualifications

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters such as Jugular catheters, Central Lines or PICC lines.
• Monitor and care for Ventilator Cases.
• Mentor and train other co-workers.
• Nurse critically ill patients back to health and reunite them with their pet parents.

Job description

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Langhorne, PA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team!

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 based on experience and credentials.

Schedule: 3x12s or 4x10s

Pay: $22.15 - $44.91/ hour

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

As a n Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:
