Job summary

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Langhorne, PA is hiring an exceptional Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency department. This full-time position requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, with competitive pay and opportunities for advancement.

We offer a sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified LVT, CVT, RVT, LVMT, or VTS, plus shift differentials. You will triage, monitor critical patients, place catheters, and support expert care in a fast-paced team environment.

Qualifications

• Anesthesia training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR
• Place IVs and advanced catheters (Jugular, Central Lines, or PICC)
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases
• Worked alongside other technicians and assistants in delivering advanced care
• Mentor and train co-workers on best practices

Shift options include Wednesday-Saturday (4×10‑hour shifts) or Thursday-Saturday (3×12‑hour shifts).

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified LVT, CVT, RVT, LVMT, or VTS!

Pay: $21.00 - $43.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

As a n ER Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
• Have a passion for mentoring and training other co-workers.
