BluePearl Pet Hospital in Langhorne, PA seeks a skilled Emergency Veterinary Technician to join our team. You will triage, obtain histories, start CPR for at-risk patients, place IVCs and catheters, and monitor ventilator cases while delivering advanced care.

• Work alongside other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to patients
• Mentor and train other co-workers
• Reunite pets with their parents and provide compassionate nursing of critically ill patients

Job description

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Langhorne, PA is seeking a skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Emergency team!

This position is offering a sign-on bonus of up to $5,000 based on experience and credentials.

Schedule: 3x12s or 4x10s

Pay: $22.15 - $44.91/ hour

This pay band is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency assessment tool. Candidates with VTS credentialing are eligible for compensation commensurate with experience.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon – Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential

• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential

As an Emergency Veterinary Technician, you will:

• Triage and obtain patient history

• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR

• Work along side other skilled technicians and assistants in providing excellent, advanced medicine to your patients
