BluePearl Pet Hospital Monterey is seeking an ICU Veterinary Technician to join our emergency team. The role involves triage, history taking, and timely CPR for at-risk patients in a fast-paced environment.

You will place IV catheters, manage ventilator cases, and work closely with a skilled team. This full-time position requires flexibility for nights, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for growth within a leading veterinary network.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active veterinary technician credential (LVT/CVT/RVT/LVMT/VTS).
• Experience in ICU or emergency settings preferred.
• Must be flexible to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Triage and obtain patient history.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Place IVCs and advanced catheters (Jugular, Central Lines, PICC).
• Monitor and care for ventilator cases.
• Collaborate with technicians and assistants to deliver advanced medicine.
• Mentor and train other staff.
• Support families by reuniting patients with their pet parents.

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Langhorne, PA is hiring a Veterinary Technician to work in our Emergency department!

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 for qualified LVT, CVT, RVT, LVMT, or VTS!

Schedule: 3 x 12hrs OR 4 x 10hrs; Mid Shift Hours Available.

Pay: $21.00 - $43.00 / hour

This pay band is a starting point and is dependent on experience and advancement through our competency leveling system.

We also offer competitive shift differential pay for eligible hours worked for nights and weekends. Shift differentials are based on a 4-hour minimum. For example:

• Mon - Fri: 6pm to 8am = $3.50 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 6pm to 8am = $5.00 Shift Differential
• Sat & Sun: 8am to 6pm = $3.50 Shift Differential
