BluePearl Pet Hospital is hiring experienced Veterinary Technicians for our busy Emergency and Critical Care department. Schedule: Weekends and Holidays required. You will induce, monitor and recover anesthesia, perform triage, radiography, and vital signs interpretation while supporting veterinarians and mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in Emergency and Critical Care settings.
• Proficient in anesthesia monitoring and vitals assessment.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and obtain vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
• Interpret vital signs and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Identify patients at risk for arrest and initiate CPR.
• Calculate medical dosages and administer medications.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
• Place and maintain feeding tubes and central lines.
• Mentor and train co-workers.
• Address client concerns with patience and empathy.
