Veterinary Emergency Group is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Santa Clarita, CA. You will join a frontline ER team handling a broad range of emergencies with doctors and VEG staff to deliver compassionate, high-quality care.

The role requires a CVT/RVT/LV M T credential in the state and 1+ year of experience; opportunity to grow in a high-volume, learning-focused environment with mentoring and continuing education support.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT, RVT, LVT, LVMT) in the state where the VEG practice is located; VTS in ECC or related areas is a plus.
• 1+ years of experience as a veterinary technician; emergency or specialty medicine experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with practice management software and electronic medical records.

Responsabilidades

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Handle IVs, CRIs, blood transfusions, and related procedures.
• Communicate with teammates and help shape plans to keep care flowing.
• Perform CPR and be prepared for advanced emergency procedures.
• Operate imaging, sample collection, and tube placement as needed.
• Support staff in fast-paced, noisy environments.
