VEG is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our Burlington, VT ER team. You will handle triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care, collaborating with doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care for pets and their guardians.

We value empathy, clear communication, and the ability to stay composed in fast-paced emergencies. The role requires a VT credential and shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT, RVT, LVT) in the state where VEG operates.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty preferred.
• Excellent communicator with the ability to stay calm under pressure in a fast-paced ER.
• Comfort with standing, lifting up to 25 kg, and working nights/weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care.
• Support doctors and team while delivering empathetic care to pets and their guardians.
• Perform IVs, monitoring, blood draws, and other routine emergency procedures.
• Collaborate to plan patient care and maintain smooth workflow in ER.
