Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group The PC in Flower Mound, TX is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team. You will work under physicians and senior staff to triage, treat, monitor, and support pets in critical care with empathy and professional communication.

The role requires a CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential in Texas, 1+ year of experience, and comfort with high-stress environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in veterinary technology preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state; VTS in ECC is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to work under pressure in emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and support from triage to discharge in emergencies.
• Assist doctors with treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care.
• Administer meds, IV fluids, and manage monitoring equipment during shifts.
• Communicate clearly with team and pet owners; contribute to care plans.
