Veterinary Emergency Group in Grand Prairie, TX is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician. You’ll join a fast-paced ER team delivering compassionate care, from triage to discharge, including anesthesia, diagnostics, and critical care nursing.

Ideal candidates hold a CVT/RVT/LVMT in Texas and have 1+ year experience, with the ability to lift up to 25 kg. Evening, night, weekend shifts and ongoing learning opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Credentialed as a CVT, RVT, LVN, or LVMT in the state of practice.
• 1+ year veterinary technician experience; emergency/specialty preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and work in a noisy, high-stress environment.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage through discharge.
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring, diagnostics, and critical care nursing.
• Administer meds, IVs/CRIs, and manage blood products as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to keep care flowing smoothly.
• Operate ultrasound, endoscopy, central lines, and other tools as trained.
