Job summary

PetVet Care Centers' Inland Valley Veterinary Specialists in Upland, CA is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join a 24/7 emergency and specialty team. This role provides administrative and customer service support to veterinarians, staff, and clients, ensuring smooth lobby flow and exceptional client experiences.

The ideal candidate will have 1+ year of veterinary experience, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year veterinary experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills under pressure.
• Compassionate and empathetic with clients in stressful situations.
• Proficient with computer systems and EMR software.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service in-person, by phone, and during high-stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, schedule appointments, and address client concerns.
• Assist with basic medical emergencies for pets and owners.
• Assist with medication pickups and provide information about services.
• Input data in practice management software and handle billing/accounts.
• Assist with retail sales and maintain records.
