VEG ER for Pets is seeking a Veterinary Nursing Shift Lead to keep shifts running smoothly and ensure top-tier care for patients while supporting VEGgies on the floor. You are a credentialed veterinary technician with strong leadership, clear communication, and a passion for learning in a fast-paced ER environment.

This role requires night/weekend/holiday availability and a collaborative, compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT certification required.
• At least 1 year as veterinary tech or assistant; ER/specialty experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities

• Oversee rhythm and flow of each shift to ensure top-tier care.
• Coordinate breaks, huddles, and on-floor coaching.
• Lead transitions and start/end-of-day wrap-ups.
• Manage patient status, team bandwidth, and shift-wide needs.
