Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets in the United States is seeking an Emergency Veterinary Clinical Supervisor to lead the ER team and oversee clinical services during scheduled shifts.

You will escalate issues to the Clinical Manager, manage team members on shift, coordinate with other departments, and ensure efficient workflows while maintaining high standards of patient care and client service.

Qualifications

• Prior veterinary experience is required.
• Flexibility with work hours and the ability to work additional hours when necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Escalates issues to Clinical Manager.
• Functions as a scheduled Clinical Services team member within department(s).
• Collaborates with other departments regarding patient and client needs.
• Prioritizes and organizes workflows for shift.
• Directly manages Clinical Services team members while on shift.
• Addresses process or employee issues during their shift.
• Communicates schedule changes, performance concerns and shift issues to the Clinical Manager routinely.
• Trains and mentors new team members.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities.
• Participates in management or administrative meeting(s) routinely.
