Job summary

MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets in Dayton, OH seeks a Veterinary Clinical Manager to lead the Emergency team, align clinical duties with strategic goals, and foster collaboration across departments.

You will coach staff, optimize schedules, manage budgets, and drive an excellent patient and client experience while promoting growth and inclusivity within a fast-paced specialty hospital.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent college experience preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Ensure department has resources and tools to deliver the MedVet Experience.
• Coach staff on process improvement and efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments and manage schedules.
• Make supply/equipment recommendations and control costs.
• Lead change and provide onboarding and performance feedback.
• Negotiate and mediate conflicts with HR partner.
• Provide written development plans for each team member.
• Attract and retain staff with meaningful work and growth.
