BluePearl Pet Hospital in New York is hiring experienced Daytime Veterinary Technicians to join our busy Emergency and Critical Care department. You will work in a fast-paced environment supporting veterinarians with anesthesia, triage, radiography, and patient monitoring.

The role offers hands-on skill growth, mentorship opportunities, and a path to advance within our competency leveling system as you expand your expertise alongside skilled veterinary professionals.

Qualifications

• Experience in Emergency & Critical Care settings preferred.
• Ability to induce, monitor and recover anesthesia.
• Proficiency in triage, vital signs, and radiography techniques.

Responsibilities

• Induce, monitor and recover anesthesia in patients.
• Triage emergency cases and monitor vitals.
• Perform digital radiography with proper technique.
• Interpret vital signs and alert Veterinarian to changes.
• Perform phlebotomy and place IV catheters.
• Place feeding tubes and central lines as needed.
• Mentor and train other staff.
• Provide patient- and client-centered care.
