Job summary

VEG for Pets is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line emergency team in Costa Mesa. You will perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care while supporting pet parents through stressful moments.

You’ll work with doctors and staff delivering gold-standard care, from IVs and meds to imaging and advanced techniques, in a fast-paced hospital environment. Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVMT) in the practice state is required; VTS in ECC/IM/anesthesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Provide nursing care and emotional support from admission to discharge.
