Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group (VEG) is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our front-line ER team in Redmond, WA. You will work closely with doctors to deliver gold-standard, emotionally intelligent care across triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.

This role requires veterinary technician credentials in the state and at least 1+ year of ER experience; AVMA-accredited education is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in veterinary technology strongly preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of VEG location is required; VTS in ECC or anesthesia is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Administer meds, IVs, and monitor treatments and anesthesia.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, and sample collection as part of patient care.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to plan and adjust care.
• Perform CPR and maintain a calm, supportive environment for pets and parents.
