Job summary

VEG ER for Pets in Lynnwood, WA is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced front-line ER team. You will participate in triage, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, delivering gold-standard, compassionate care for pets in urgent need.

Must be CVT/RVT/LV(T) in the state; AVMA-accredited degree preferred; 1+ year in veterinary tech, especially in emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree in AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• CVT/RVT/LV(T) credential in the state; VTS in ECC/medicine/anesthesia a plus.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR proficiency.
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure; able to support team.
• Able to stand for long hours and lift up to 25 kg (40 kg with assistance).
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays in a rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, triage, treatments, and emotional support.
• Assist in anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tubing placement.
• Communicate effectively with teammates and pet owners; support care plans.
