Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group is hiring an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Redmond, WA. You will join a frontline team delivering high-quality emergency care, from triage to critical care, alongside experienced doctors.

Grow clinically with ongoing mentorship and extensive training opportunities while supporting pet parents during stressful times. The role requires AVMA-accredited training, state credentialing, and a minimum of 1 year in a veterinary setting, preferably in emergency

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in veterinary technology from an AVMA-accredited program preferred.
• Credentialed veterinary technician in the state of practice (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT).
• 1+ year of experience in veterinary technician roles; emergency or specialty preferred.
• Excellent communicator; calm under pressure and able to support teammates.

Responsibilities

• Triage and treat emergency patients, providing nursing care and monitoring.
• Assist with diagnostics, anesthesia, and critical care nursing as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain smooth care flow.
• Perform CPR and use advanced techniques (IVs, CRIs, transfusions) when required.
• Support pet parents with compassionate communication throughout care.
• Use diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and instrumentation as trained.
• Work in a fast-paced hospital, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
