Job summary

Veterinary Emergency Group in Littleton, CO seeks an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our 24/7 ER team. You will engage in triage, anesthesia, diagnostics, monitoring and critical care nursing while supporting pet parents during stressful moments.

Requirements include an AVMA-accredited program with an associate’s or higher in veterinary technology and state credentialed CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT.

Qualifications

• CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT credential required in the practice state
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role, emergency or specialty preferred
• Excellent communicator and calm under pressure
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity
• Ability to lift up to 25 kg and stand for prolonged periods

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments and emotional support from triage to discharge
• Assist with anesthesia, monitoring and critical care nursing
• Perform diagnostics, imaging, sample collection and tubes placement
• Collaborate with doctors and team to deliver high-quality care
• Support pet parents and maintain compassionate presence during stressful moments

Education
