VEG ER for Pets in Denver, CO is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our fast-paced, front-line ER team. You will provide care from triage through discharge, partnering with doctors to deliver compassionate, high-quality care for pets in emergencies.

Roles include anesthesia, monitoring, diagnostics, and critical care nursing, with opportunities to grow skills and mentor others in a busy, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma; associate or higher in a AVMA accredited veterinary tech program preferred.
• Credential as a Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state of VEG practice is required; VTS a plus.
• 1+ years in veterinary tech, emergency or specialty medicine preferred.
• Ability to use practice management software and EMR systems.
• Strong communication and calm demeanor under pressure; able to support the team.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care from triage to discharge during emergencies.
• Deliver treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood products, and monitoring devices.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to maintain smooth care flow.
• Perform CPR and handle advanced procedures as trained.
• Handle diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tubing placement.
• Support fragile patients with anesthesia as needed.
