Veterinary Emergency Group The PC is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician in Sugar Land, TX. You will work on the front lines of emergency care, handling triage, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical nursing in a fast-paced hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AVMA-accredited degree preferred.
• Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT/LVMT) in the state.
• 1+ year experience in veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.
• Basic computer skills and EMR familiarity; strong communication under pressure.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Handle anesthesia, monitoring, diagnostics, and critical care nursing.
• Assist with IVs, CRIs, blood products, and monitoring equipment.
• Collaborate with doctors and team to plan and maintain care flow.
• Perform CPR and respond to emergencies as trained.
• Utilize diagnostics, imaging, sample collection, and tube placement.
• Support high-energy, fast-paced emergency environment.
