VEG in Washington, DC is seeking an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician to join our on-site ER team. You’ll handle triage, treatments, diagnostics, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing while providing calm, compassionate support to pet parents during stressful moments.

You must have an AVMA-accredited program degree and be credentialed as a CVT, RVT, or LVT in the state. 1+ year of veterinary technician experience, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 25 kg

Qualificações

• Must have AVMA-accredited veterinary technology program.
• Credentialed as CVT/RVT/LVT in DC.
• 1+ year of emergency or specialty veterinary experience.
• Excellent communication and ability to work under pressure.

Responsabilidades

• Provide triage, nursing care, treatments, and monitoring.
• Assist with anesthesia, imaging, and critical care.
• Support veterinarians and communicate clearly with pet owners.
