Job summary

Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician - Charlotte, NC is a position at Veterinary Emergency Group. You will join a fast-paced ER team delivering gold-standard care for emergency cases, collaborating with doctors and team members to ensure optimal outcomes for pets and their families.

You will manage triage, anesthesia, monitoring, IV therapies, diagnostics, and critical care nursing, while providing empathetic support in a high-stress environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• AVMA-accredited veterinary technology degree strongly preferred.
• Credentialed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of practice is required; VTS in ECC/ANesIA is a plus.
• 1+ year of experience in a veterinary technician role; emergency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Treat every patient and person like they matter.
• Provide nursing care, treatments, and emotional support from triage to discharge.
• Administer medications, monitor patients, and manage IVs/CRIs and transfusions as needed.
• Collaborate with doctors and team; contribute to care plans.
