Job summary

LEHR in Nashville, TN is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician to join our team. If you enjoy building, wiring, repairing, or customizing vehicles, this is your chance to turn that passion into a career with hands-on training available for the right candidate.

As a full-time, non-exempt role, you will remove factory components, install lighting, sirens, cameras, and 12V electrical systems, maintain safety standards, and organize tools and inventory while collaborating with a small

  • Experience using hand tools and power tools.
  • Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and on a team.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

  • Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
  • Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more.
  • Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
  • Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
  • Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Organize tools and inventory.

LEHR is seeking a detail-oriented candidate with a strong work ethic to join our Nashville team as an Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician.

Responsibilities
  • Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components
  • Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
  • Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
  • Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
