Job summary

Lehr in Anchorage, Alaska, is looking for experienced Emergency Vehicle Equipment Installers. This role involves building, wiring, and customizing emergency vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Remove factory‑installed interior and exterior vehicle components
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace
• Organize tools and inventory
• Track hours/job progress

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Proven 12V experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics
• Mechanical aptitude and hands‑on experience
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles
• Strong attention to detail
• Must be punctual
• Ability to work independently and on a team
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED

Schedule
