Job summary

LEHR is hiring a Vehicle Equipment Installer to join the Stuart, Florida team. You will remove factory-installed components and install emergency equipment, cameras, and 12V wiring, supporting first responders. The schedule is Mon-Fri, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with no weekends, at 7828 South West Jack James Drive, Stuart, FL 34997.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical and electrical aptitude or hands-on experience.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more.
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Organize tools and inventory.
