Job summary

LEHR in Nashville is seeking an Emergency Vehicle Installation Technician to install emergency equipment, run 12V wiring, and support first responders. Training is provided for entry-level candidates.

We offer full-time, non-exempt employment with benefits, a Monday–Thursday schedule (6:00 AM–5:00 PM), and four 10-hour shifts at our Nashville location.

Qualifications

• Experience using hand tools and power tools.
• Mechanical aptitude or hands-on experience.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and work in/around vehicles.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and on a team.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Remove factory-installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more.
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Organize tools and inventory.
