Job summary

LEHR is seeking an Emergency Vehicle 12V Technician to remove factory components and install critical upfit equipment at 12941 Dayton Pike, Soddy-Daisy, TN 37379. You will wire 12V systems, install cameras and computers, and ensure safety standards in a team-focused environment.

The role requires 12V experience, ability to read schematics, and comfort with hand and power tools. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent are required.

Qualifications

Emergency Vehicle 12V Technician

Responsibilities

• Remove factory‑installed interior and exterior vehicle components.
• Install emergency vehicle equipment, including light bars, sirens, speakers, push bumpers, partitions, and more.
• Install cameras, computers, and license plate recognition systems.
• Perform 12V electrical wiring and system installations.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean workspace.
• Organize tools and inventory.

Qualifications

• Proven 12V experience.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Ability to work with hand and power tools such as screw drivers, wrenches, hand drills, etc.
• Capability to bend, twist, reach, and lift to 50 lbs. without assistance.
• Aptitude in mechanical, electrical, and electronic components from various sources is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work independently and/or in a team environment.
• Valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Compensation and Benefits

• Starting pay is $18 per hour and up, depending on experience.
• Bonus potential after satisfactorily completing initial training period.

Schedule

• Full time hourly.
• Typical schedule Monday‑Thursday 6 am‑4:30 pm (10 hrs).
