Job summary

Falck is seeking a Mechanic Level 2 to perform quality mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on emergency vehicles, including engines, transmissions and HVAC. You will diagnose, disassemble and reassemble components, ensure safe shop operations, and support field personnel and supervisors.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, 3–6 ASE certifications, and the ability to provide your own basic hand tools. We offer full benefits and opportunities for career development.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience repairing and performing preventative vehicle maintenance on emergency vehicles or equivalent.
• 3-6 ASE Certifications (these can be retrieved after hire).
• Satisfactory driving record in accordance with Company Driving Policy.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose gasoline and diesel engines; overhaul engines and replace components such as turbo and fuel pumps.
• Electrical: test wiring harness, install aftermarket components; use diagnostic tools.
• Diagnose OBD-II codes with diagnostic tools and repair to manufacturer specs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on ambulances and operation vehicles.
• Ensure safe shop environment and that repairs are completed before release.
