Job summary

Falck is hiring a Mechanic Level 2 at our Santa Fe Springs, CA location. This full-time role performs high-quality mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles up to certification level, including ambulances and marketing cars, with safety and reliability as a priority.

You provide your own basic hand tools and work with diagnostic equipment while coordinating with field personnel and supervisors. Pay ranges from $24 to $29 per hour, with full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3–6 ASE Certifications preferred.
• Experience with emergency vehicle maintenance desired.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on ambulances and fleet vehicles.
• Diagnose gasoline and diesel engines and related components.
• Repair electrical systems and install aftermarket components.
• Test and diagnose using Xentry, IDS and MDI.
• Ensure safety inspections and quality before vehicles return to service.
• Disassemble and overhaul engines, transmissions, differentials.
