Job summary

Falck A/S is seeking a Mechanic Level I/C to perform quality mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles up to their certification level. You will diagnose, disassemble, reassemble components, and work under supervision to support Level II/III mechanics.

You must have a High school diploma or GED and 1–2 ASE certifications (A5/A6/A7/A9 preferred). A valid driving record and strong communication skills are required as you maintain safety standards in the shop.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining emergency vehicles.
• High school diploma or GED; 1–2 ASE certifications preferred (A5, A6, A7 and A9).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work with diverse teams.
• Satisfactory driving record per company policy.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles including oil changes and fluid top-offs.
• Diagnose using OBD-II codes with Xentry, IDS, and MDI.
• Replace belts, hoses, brakes, and perform engine/transmission work under supervision.
• Maintain clean work area and comply with safety standards.
• Create and maintain vehicle history and maintenance records.
