Job summary

Falck is seeking a Mechanic Level 2 to perform mechanical repairs and preventive maintenance on fleet vehicles in a shop environment. The role requires diagnosing engines, electrical systems, and applying manufacturer specifications, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; ASE certs encouraged.
• 3–6 ASE certifications mentioned in education section.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with emergency vehicle maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose gasoline and diesel engines; overhaul engines.
• Electrical work: test wiring harness, install aftermarket components.
• Diagnose OBD-II codes with diagnostic tools; use repair guides.
• Replace worn parts and repair HVAC, belts, hoses, and pumps.
• Perform safety inspections and ensure repairs are complete before release.
