Job summary

McLaren Health Care's Emergency Services department is seeking a per diem Registered Nurse to collaborate with physicians, provide bedside care, and implement care plans. You will delegate tasks to nursing support and monitor patient progress.

The role requires Michigan RN licensure, ACLS and Basic Neuroscience within 6 months, TNCC within 1 year, and ENPC within 2 years. Prior acute care experience is preferred. Shifts are variable and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Michigan license.
• ACLS course and Basic Neuroscience course required within first 6 months.
• TNCC within 1 year; ENPC within 2 years of hire/transfer.

Responsibilities

• Provides bedside nursing care and carries out medical orders.
• Delegates to and oversees Nursing Assistants and related roles.
• Evaluates effectiveness of care plans and participates in patient conferences.
• Ensures proper patient placement and delegation of assignments as team leader.
