Job summary

McLaren Health Care, based in Grand Blanc, Michigan, is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN to provide expert nursing care in a fast-paced environment. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient needs, and triage using ESI from minor to critical cases, ensuring safety and quality outcomes.

The role requires active Michigan RN license, BLS, ACLS within 3 months, and ENPC/TNCC/CPI as scheduled, with BSN preferred. Full-time day/night shifts with rotating on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and active RN license in Michigan.
• BLS Certification required; ACLS within 3 months of hire; TNCC, ENPC, CPI as scheduled.
• CPEN/CEN/CPEN/TCRN certifications may be preferred depending on unit needs.
• Excellent customer service and written/verbal communication skills to interact with patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Apply the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and discharge needs for patient/family.
• Triages patients per Emergency Severity Index (ESI) from minor to critical.
